The Friends of Otay Valley Regional Park want to thank those who showed up for the December, January, and/or March cleanup efforts of the eastern shore of Lower Otay Reservoir. This effort was a huge success with local Brownie Troops, scouts, Hansen Aggregates & Otay Real Estate Company employees, Pirates Grove members and local families coming together with the "Friends of OVRP" to remove several dumpsters of trash ranging from bottles and cans to tires, rims, even an old stove. This area looks so much better that those jogging and biking on the trails that day were shouting thanks to all of us as they went by.
