Knott's Soak City

San Diego County's wildest water adventure park, this 32 water-logged acre amusement park pays tribute to the area's rich surfing heritage and it features 23 of the most intense water rides imaginable, including a 500,000 gallon wave pool that is one of the largest in Southern California.

Cricket Ampitheatre

Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre is an outdoor performing arts theater with reserved seating for 10,000 and additional seating for 10,000 on an attractively landscaped lawn. The amphitheatre is located just 17 minutes from downtown San Diego in Chula Vista, and is the area's first major concert facility designed specifically for music.

Otay Lakes County Park

County Parks and Recreation maintains and enhances the quality of life in San Diego County by providing parks and recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. Our award-winning system includes local and regional parks, campgrounds, 300 miles of trails, fishing lakes, state-of-the-art recreation centers and sports complexes, ecological preserves, and open space preserves.

Proctor Valley

Proctor Valley is named for 19th-century English astronomer Richard Proctor, whose widow, according to Lou Stein's San Diego County Place Names, arrived in the area in 1887. She planned to build an observatory on nearby Mount San Miguel as a memorial to Professor Proctor. The observatory was never built, but the valley was named for the stargazer.

Skydive San Diego

Skydive San Diego, Inc. is a full-service skydiving facility with multiple training buildings, a bunkhouse, deluxe packing lofts, a grass landing area, a BBQ deck and patio, and incredible scenery to match! Unlike some outfits that will depart a public airport and land you in a field miles away requiring a van ride back to your friends, Skydive San Diego is set up to takeoff and land right in the same place, where your friends can watch!
