Nature Walk at Otay Lakes County Park

Reptiles Need Friends Too

The Friends of Otay Valley Regional Park (Friends of OVRP) are excited to start their educational outreach with an interactive nature walk at the Otay Lakes County Park on Saturday April 17th from 10 am to noon. We have a local reptile expert who will offer a chance to interact with our reptile neighbors and guide us on a short nature walk.

This event would be perfect for kids who would like to learn about local animal species and how to protect them from extinction. Parking at the County Park will be free for this event. We recommend you bring some water and a hat for the hike.

This event will be followed by others on the third weekend of each month. For more information, please call Frank Ohrmund at 619-397-5300 or go to www.ovrp.org.
